Currently? One Piece and I'm fiddling with Arcane behind the scenes without posting. But I have written for Avatar The last Airbender, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, The Magnus Archives, Silmarillion, My Hero Academia, and MXTX works.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

OK so my inbox is a fucking mess. I do try to respond to comments but once I fall behind I fall so behind. And once I start getting mean comments or concrit, it's hard for me to go back and respond to comments on a fic. Usually, I'll respond in a big wave to comments on the last chapter before posting the next but sometimes I forget.

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't really write unhappy endings. 🤔 I currently have an abandoned wip that ends at an unhappy spot and I have a few dead dove oneshots that are pretty angsty but no multichaps. Maybe feather of lead.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

They are genuinely all so happily ever after fluffy that it's hard to choose. Maybe Car Trouble. Or after all the angst, you might consider the ending of such small words super happy. Idk.

Do you get hate on fics?

Depends on how you define hate. I get comments telling me I made incorrect choices or that my fics are wrong in some way for doing xyz. I get character hate. I've been told I'm a bad person for writing certain kinks or tropes on pwps or that I'm perpetuating stereotypes and that's damaging. Annoying shit like that.

Do you write smut?

Lmao yes

Do you write crossovers?

I've done it once! Star Trek/Good Omens for shits and giggles.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

One time. It got taken down fairly quickly though.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yeah! A handful of times. It's always so cool when people ask.

Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Yes. With my beloved collaborater naromoreau. I think we have like eight fics we wrote together? Probably about 200k collaborated words at this point. I've learned so much from her and nothing is as fun as writing with her.

What's your all time favorite ship?

I will probably never get over spirk.

What's the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Hot Sugar. I'm so sorry but I lost the will.

What are your writing strengths?

I am a fast writer. My methods of getting through writers block almost never fail. But those aren't strengths that translate to the page.

On the page, I think I'm good with character psychology and motivations which I think shows up well in dialogue, pacing and plot beats. My writing is concise mostly because if I don't have a reason for including something, I will cut it. I'm a brutal editor and will kill my darlings without remorse.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I am a fast writer lmao which sometimes means I write too much and quality dips massively because the mental reservoir will empty and I end up tapping an empty well. While I like to think I am concise and efficient at conveying things, I sometimes think I "underwrite" or perhaps "overtell."

Thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages?

As a younger writer, I did it but only because I spoke that language. I think there might be value. Here we come back to, if you can make a compelling argument for *why* it serves the story then I'm open to it but also you better check with someone who is fluent.

Star Trek. Unless you count my notebook scribbling of inuyasha fic when I was 14.

Favorite fic you've written

God ok. I've written nearly 200 fics across a gazillion fandoms so there's a few. Most recently life in your shape for One Piece because I challenged myself to write something low conflict and loved how it came out. Watermark from Good Omens. And Grossly Undeserved from Star Trek.

Honestly I think the magnus archives fandom would really like ordem paranormal and should definitely check out enigma of fear which is probably coming out in october. It's an amazing RPG that centers around Fear and something called "the other side" with creatures connected to four elements associated with fear. Amazing lore, meta analysis on fear, the morals of siding yourself with fear itself and its horror to fight an ever aproaching huge threat to the universe... it's really cool. The game was community funded and has been on the works for a couple years now, and will be available in english and spanish along with portuguese. I just think it would be really cool for foreigners to check out a brazilian indie game.

forgot to update this, but i started playing the game again like two days ago, and i actually started working my way through the DLCs because i actually dropped the game when i got to Shulva and got to the second Bonfire (mostly bc of life reasons but also because almost every enemy in the area is so resistant to dark and actually immune to poison in Shulva and that's exactly my build), but i beat all of Shulva finally, today. Sinh took me five tries, mostly just bc i kept missing his legs and getting hit while healing and not having enough HP to tank more than one attack, but apparently he's weak to dark, so it was a pretty easy fight, just a little hard to keep track of him sometimes when he flew up. and getting to the triple boss was harder than just fighting them, like i even tried using the NPC summons but they were not very great and lost like a third of their health just getting to the boss, because the summon signs are at the opening of the area instead of close to the fog door, and the two times i did get them in healthy, i died bc of the archer sniping me or me getting caught by an attack by Havel in the water, but ultimately i just decided to beat the boss myself and slightly cheese the two of them with dark fog because it was easier than the other thing i was imagining doing, which was clearing out the area of enemies by despawning them so the NPC summons could get to the boss door faster and easier, and i just couldn't be bothered after like dying to the enemies ten times, and even getting petrified twice bc of the statues and the walking statues which are so fucking annoying and just take so much time to clear out with a bow. like they're harder to hit than the fucking crystal lizards. they should've just despawned like after five kills bc it was so irritating trying to clear them repeatedly. i eventually despwaned one group of enemies at the top since i was doing it in small chunks instead of risking my souls too much, but at the end i got bored, decided to risk it and just beat the boss on like the third real try (two other tries were corpse runs, one of which i failed and lost 30K souls).

but Shulva was a fun area overall, like i think i actually really enjoyed the DLC for the most part, and the level interactions with the switches and the ghostly knights and stuff was actually fun, and aesthetically it's really pleasing too, (though those dinosaur enemies at the bottom were a bad idea bc they're just so spongy i got tired of even trying to kill them). only part i didn't like (besides how far the bonfire for the triple boss was) was the part where enemies were super resistant to my build, but that's more a me thing than the game thing. i'm sure melee builds or other magic/ranged builds probably had an easier time bc they're not stretched as thin as my build and the enemies probably aren't as resistant.

oh also, beat Elana second try (died to gravity bc of bad platforming than i died to her lol) with Benhart just for fun, since i've already finished his quest, but yeah, i actually like all 3 boss fights, i think Sinh is definitely the most interesting of the bunch, the triple boss would be so much easier to appreciate if the bonfire was closer to the fog door and in that alcove with the light, or if it didn't have so many fucking statues trying to petrify you, but i still think it's an interesting challenge of positioning and situational awareness, and they're not so spongy that it gets tiring to do, like i think i took them down in under 5 minutes, and Elana's summon thing was nice, though i only got skeletons every time. i know she can summon Velstadt which would've been cool, especially with Benhart there but eh. it was a fun fight still, though i wish the curses were more interesting besides just taking your health like cutting stamina regen or preventing healing or whatever, like the damage is fine, but idk, feel like she could've had a few more interesting mechanics.

anyway, started working on Brume Tower next since that was the next DLC that came out, and died bc of a bad roll a little bit after the section with the exploding guys, when you're descending the ladders. the guy throwing firebombs caught me at a weird angle, i tried to lock on and rolled wrong and died, so that's where i'm stopping for the day, probably pick back up tomorrow or sometime next week. already closed the game so no stat update, but i'll grab them the next time i boot it up again.

playing the original Dark Souls 2 again (not Scholar) for the first time in forever, the hormones slider in advanced character creation always kills me. Dark Souls 2 was saying trans rights before any other game in the series.

I had to open the ship combat rules doc I made for Rook's campaign the other day, and man, that thing was (and still is tbh) my fucking magnum opus. I put so much effort into creating rules for a type of combat that dnd doesn't naturally support, and it was SUCH a fun challenge. I'll admit it's not perfect, but it works for our campaign, and everyone seemed to like it during our one test so far, so that's good enough for me.

I think between the stat blocks, the rules themselves, and the maps of the ships, I spent easily 48 hours total on making this sailing arc happen. (No, I'm not the DM, I just like homebrewing shit, and also happen to be the one who decided to play a pirate and make that involved in the story.)

not gonna lie, not a big fan of how when harding talks about the inquisitor, theres this implication that like... the inquisitor was... too good to be around harding and the "little people" of the inquisition. and theres some contempt/disdain there. like, harding was someone the inquisitor saw and worked with on a regular basis. she was a face of the inquisition for the players, just as much as the advisors and companions.

idk especially with all the stuff with bellara idolizing neve and her having to constantly remind her that she's just a person. and like, we spend so much time with the villains, the self-proclaimed gods of both the elves and tevinter, and they keep driving home just how flawed they are, how no matter how hard they try they are not any better than mortals.

but somehow, the inquisitor, who has been prosecuted by the chantry, by ferelden and orlais and the free marches.... who actually saved the world twice over and then disbands the organization when its time is done.... is the one painted with a superiority complex?

I wanted to go on a drawing spree yesterday, but I could only muster these two before dozing off.

First one, even if I'm not that sure about how I drew her face shape in this angle (and most importantly I forgot her neck and torso bandages OOPS) I do really like how most of the drawing came out. And at least it isn't a bland bust this time, though I'm pretty sure I've already drawn a pose like this before. (Oh no the next drawing is a 3/4 bust again..)

Second, yesterday I saw an artist draw some of the coolest redesigns ever for a different media piece, and thought about the many awesome gg redesigns I often see so I wanted to give A.B.A a spin... Except I was out of ideas so most of this drawing is her regular design haha. I got too tired to even try to attempt to draw the rest of the body and half-assed the key but I like the vibes and pose (even if I.. think I made her neck a bit too long? Old habits die hard... Necks are my enemies when drawing!)

I like the idea of her having a key take on the classic frankenstein bolts (though wait, her head key is referred to as a screw. Would this also be a screw or key shaped bolts??-)
